Re: Honda Ruckus / Scooter Thread
HONESTLY
If I had your money. I'd probably buy a Yamaha C3 (if your son liked it of course). It has some after market support (not as much, but enough) yet is un-common here, kinda like when the Ruckus first came out. It's also fuel injected so your son can toy with it without having to worry with carb troubles.

A C3 would be easier to live with as a "daily"
but a Ruck is more satisfying as a "tinkerer"

Re: Honda Ruckus / Scooter Thread
thanks guys..........I've been looking at all kinds of bikes. My son likes the Aprilia scooter the best but likes the idea of modding something. We had a good time building his bmx bike from scratch.

Re: Honda Ruckus / Scooter Thread
Ruck- Bolt on's galore but kinda a pain in the tuning department. 25 different exhausts, bolt on and run lean, re-jet
C3- The reverse, may have to fab/adapt SOME parts, but pretty much tunes it's self. 3 different exhausts (LOL), Bolt on and go
