looks like an external oil feed line, but i can't tell in that pic where it goes to.

go to www.ducatimonster.org. I know its not a Monster but these guys know everything about Ducs and there is a parts section that always has good stuff for sale. They will also be able to tell you which models have interchangeable rims with your SS. Good luck! You'll love it once its running.
