progressive wanted 540 dollars a month when i just got my recent 04 tacoma. I litterally said fuck you guys and hung up. That shit was ridiculous. "because im 21 with a truck in my own name and im on my own policy" is the main reason they said it was so high. And that was with a 500 deductible. No tickets either.
Called Gmac, quoted me 217 a month. It's actually gonna be cheaper now because i called them the other day to talk about renewing and they said i "still" had 3 tickets on my record? I was like...wtf....i only had 1 ticket in my life and that went off my record feb of 03. So, they did a check and they said once they get it straight they are gonna refund the difference to me that i payed "over" last year and currently this year.
You can't beat that shit.
Anywho, when you add a motorcycle to your policy, do they consider that as a "multi" vehicle?

progressive does not count it as multi vehicle its a completely seperate policy... other companies might differ... but there is no one magical company, even if you and your twin brother had the same car, same year, same record theres a good chance the same insurance company would give you two different rates... so call every single insurance company you can find

Cycle INS and CAR are to diffrent policys and on your DL they are seperate also. You could have 3 speeding tickets in your car and your Cyle DL wont show it. Thats my understanding of it anyway.
