if it's got lights, you can ride it on the street with a helmet and eye protection. it's considered a moped. you have to ride on the street though, not the sidewalk.

if you want a cheapie, just go to pep boys. there used to be a shop on va beach blvd near 1st colonial that sold all kinds of stuff like that, not sure if they're still in buisness though.

no, you have to abide by regular driving laws, which means no sidewalks.
norfolk doesn't have a helmet law for mopeds, but every other city in hampton roads does. so unless you live in norfolk, you have to wear a helmet and eye protection.

ehh.....if you do get one DONT get ANYTHING that has SunL written on it....its not good...the only thing that is good is the motor...the rest is doo doo....and dont let em get you for like 450 on a 2 stroke...they have 4 strokes that are like 650 n have clutches and brakes by the footpeg , rather then on the handlebar....mine had so much power it used to snap the sprocket right off the wheel...somebody on here bought it though i wonder if he still has it
