I think the headlight needs some work, but it looks pretty cool. Have him join and enter the dope bike contest.

I like everything besides the headlight. He should just get a used gixxer headlight and put it on there w/o the front fairing. I've seen it done....looks nice.

Needs a bellypan bad, and maybe a shorter tail. Just looks too long or something. A good start though.
Heres my overflow setup. Was $4 for the bottle a Food Lion. Had some spare 3-an lines from an old nos kit. and two 22.5* fittings threaded into tapped holes. One line runs to the bottom with a tapered cut on the end. The other runs from the cap to the back incase it pisses.

 

That was more of a German thing that finally made it here. This dude Sven has a tail like those with a tiny sheetmetal seat. He's like 6-4" and 250+ kind of funny watching him ride it.
