Well im going to be leaving the 757 in March. Im going to be going back out to AZ. Im goign to have to tow my bike (Old Ninja 250) so I was goingto get one of those enclosed u-haul trailors and put it in there as well as some of my other stuff that im takeing with me instead of having the AF ship. You guys think that should be alright to do? Any other suggestions.

Yep you should be good just strap the bars down and maybe put a cover on it if you are gonna have other stuff in the trailer with it. so nothing gets scratched

yep...it's fine. I'm renting a 6x12 enclosed trailer from uhaul when I move in a couple of months. Just watch out with the surge brakes if you're in crappy weather and go slow


Don't over-compress the forks and it should be good to go

i think i heard a guy had his bike trucked down from a base up north down to langley

bikes should count against your normal weight for household goods and they'll put it on a pallet and ship it just like anyone else. If you have the 300lbs or so I'd do it that way. They ship them all the time and I have known at least a dozen people that have had the military move them. Cars and trucks it seems to be a little hit or miss with shipping

Just sell the bike and buy another one in AZ.

Doubt ill get a deal like I did though. I paid $400 for the bike. I might get $900 for it. That would take alot of hunting to find another one that cheap
