Stupid sick flatland clips

Re: Stupid sick flatland clips
it's just progression. it's alot easier to try something on a bike that weighs a few pounds than a bike that weighs a couple hundred. try it on a bicycle, get comfortable with it (cuz it hurts less when you don't make it) then step it up a notch, and move up to a motorcycle. i wouldn't consider it "copying". if it was as easy to do the things on a motorcycle as it is on a bicycle, people would have been doing stuff like that on motorcycles a looong time ago.
not saying that it's easy on a bicycle, but in comparison to a motorcycle, it is easier.

Not necessarily, on a motorcycle you can play with your throttle and brakes to level yourself off or give you more push around. On a BMX bike once your up in the air Its just your body controlling the bike. Unless your doing ledge/coping tricks.

I all B.S. on that! Have you ever stunted a full size sportbike? It takes brake throttle and BODY CONTROL. Shifting weight on pegs, always correcting and steering. If you did'nt counter weight in a wheelie it would just fall over on its side and circle wheelies would be impossible.

I just kinda assumed that everyone knew body control was part of it. I was simply making the comparison that in addition to body control on the MX bike you can use your throttle and brake [edit: fixed break to brake] as opposed to the BMX bike which is all body control except on ledge/coping tricks and flatland. It would be retarded to say that you did not use your body on an MX bike sorry about the confusion though.

I used to be a pretty wild flatlander, but now I don't know if I could pull off any of the old tricks.. I used to have a ridiculous amount of endurance and not get winded, but it's been hard trying to build that back up.
