I thought liter bikes were the only bike capable of being turbo? Its bad enough that bikes hardly have any displacement, but to pick the smaller of bikes to work with isnt worth the time or the money. Get the Busa and turbo that.

for all practical purposes lets just put it this way, you cannot turbocharged an F4

if you really really want to you can, but it will be BIG money, tons and tons of testing, the parts will all be 100% custom made, it will run poorly, break down often, and you'll get eaten up by stock liter bikes and for what you'll spend you could probably damn near have a turbo'd busa

the money would be better spent on a newer bike, or better yet track time

i couldnt find any turbos for 600 cc bikes the smallest i could find was for a honda cbr 900rr. its expensive as hell though. 5600.00 . cant imagine what a custom kit for a 600 would cost. probably not worth it though. would be kinda cool to see though. youd definitely be original

If you are just looking to spend money on your bike why not put a 900rr motor in it. Friend of mine did it. Not much work and a sleeper.

oh im happy with my 600. i was just on watch and bored so i looked up the turbos for the original guy who inquired about it. sounds like a 900 engine would be a cool idea though instead of the turbo.

last year or the year before, i was able to find a website that sold a turbo kit for the honda f4. they had a dyno of their turbo f4, but i dont remember the numbers for it.

i think the tubo kit prices ranged from $3500-$6000.

anyways, just NOS it for like $650 or less.

The 600 cc bikes arent TO far from the liter bikes.. If you went turbo, even on fairly low boost.. say 5-6 psi, I bet you would be able to beat many liters..
