Yea, that did surprise me as well, and even surprised the owner of the car. He was parked behind me and when I was packing up I congratulated him on winning Best of Show and he acted like he should not have won either. Though when I did hear how the Best of Show was chosen, I was not as surprised, though I will admit, I thought 69vette's car was going to win Best of Show....looks like I'm going to have to clean the RS and SS better for next years show....hahaha

From past experiences at the shows i've been to over the years the best way to do best of show and the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc. is to let the people who entered their cars pick. This isn't a big serious show like Super Chevy or something. Everyone generally gets a paper to turn in with their votes. I think it works out better since if you own a car in a certain group, then you obviously know something about the kinda of car and can judge the others fairly. Also I think it would eliminate the nit picking that happened at this show on small things like having rock chips in your paint. If you drive your car then it can't stay perfect.

your car had more than door dings .... not to mention the rim I don't have rock chips in my car though. Others at the show did have points deducted for having like 5 rock chips lol.
