I'm guessing the big right hand sweeper that leads to the right hand hairpin leading onto the front esses? That's the one part of the etrack I can't nail to save my life.

I could probably benefit from the car being raised a little but I'm not 100% sure. I see just as many fast guys on the track with the car at the same height as I do with it jacked up in the air. You can't deny that it doesn't look better low though. That and raising it means I need to realign it which I really don't feel like doing.
I meant more for accidental off track "incidents". I'd be freaked out if my car were that low and I went off the track in a bad section.

You're both probably right. It's just a little bug I can't seem to get rid of. I just want to see how it would do on track. I should probably do it at VIR if I'm going to do it though. There's a reason I bought a Miata.

Yeah that's one of the turns I don't have down as well. The tight turn at the end can sneak up on you and I have a tendency to brake wayyy to early for that turn. I actually made it to one driftwater event when I had the other s2000 and that one surprisingly felt better on that back turn than this one does. It had higher spring rates but everything else was just about identical. In theory the new one should be much better.

I feel like I've got the entire front section down good. I have the least amount of room for improvement in that section. My absolute worst spot on the track is the turn right after the long straight. I can't seem to find the best line and time my downshift at the right moment. That is also the one place I had an off at the last event so I think I'm holding back.

Oh and a black car will get beat up for sure. Mine doesn't look it until you get up close and then the front and sides look pretty crappy.

^I'll have to take you up on it the next time I'm out there if you attend.

On the corner after the long back straight how do you take it? There is a good bump on the inside of the turn that seems to unsettle my car and I'm wondering if the fastest way is to just take the outside all the way around. Either that or my setup needs some attention. I wouldn't be surprised if it was the latter.

LOL I'm seeing a lot of 2.5 laps... I should have pushed Mike a bit harder to finish the new monster so I could take one of the e30s and have a clear track to play on

You do know they have to get up to temperature to work, right? That or its just too much car for 205's.

Thats the last session those tires were on my car car #19 TTE. .6 seconds off my track record, notice its on the 3rd lap on a 2 mile track.

LOL. It was pretty awesome, because I was like the only drifter out there for the longest time and I was relentless.

I obviously don't know anything about these tires. No sarcasm here.

But this I can tell you, 2 of them are dead. Worn down bad. The rear was all over the place at first, then started to hold some. The front would push over half the width of the track.

Maybe there were too many factors on top of me never using tires like those? Like going from light weight 16x7 +45 215-45-16 to heavy stock 15x6 +50

I never felt so embarrassed, but I guess it's whatever. It killed my confidence even until now.

I will say for my first track event, I had a blast. Took a little while to figure out my car and the track of course. I know a few of you saw me do some off-track adventures. I have to work on my driving alot still, and need better tires and MUCH better brakes, I was getting some fade after 3-4 laps. BTW, I was the gray 240, stock wheels, all red tails (the only 240 that was gripping lol)
