OK got a problem.

I went up there today and talked to different person. I swear its been a different person every time I've been up there.

Anyways, I was going to pay for 2 more shelters, to accommodate 150 parking spaces, because that was what I was specifically told.

I wasn't even asking the person a question yet, just telling her what I did the last time I was there, and that I wanted to get 2 more shelters to get 150 spaces.

She then said no, thats not right. Each shelter holds 50 people, how many people are you looking to have? I said about 150-200 tops. She said I'd have to get a larger shelter then.

I said But I'm not trying to have all 200 in the shelter at the same time, we'd be in the park, enjoying the view, and socializing near our cars.

She then for some reason assumed, "you mean a car show?" I said no, not a car show specifically. Our goal is to have a cookout/gathering, and we just happen to be a car enthusiast group.

She said "But still a car show, without calling it one? You'll need to get special events permission for a special lady, who doesn't work til tomorrow. I have no clue what the rules are for that."

So I'm at a loss for what to do until tomorrow when I try to get ahold of this lady.

If I try to get a large shelter, we can just try to walk out and browse the parking lot, and walk around the park freely.

I doubt they would just go harass people, especially the few people that paid money to do something for a change.

I'm really sorry for not being very grammatical in this post, I'm rushing. I'll clean it up later, just random spacing for now

Wow. It sounds like no one really knows what the policies are there. This seems to be a bit much. At what point can we just park in general parking and walk over to the shelters?
