The Show runs March 31st from 8am to 3pm, with registration starting at 7:30am. Awards are at 1pm.

(Out of town attendees can get a rebate from Days Inn Hotel of Aquia for mentioning this event!)

This is a community event, with free admission to the viewing public: (Dontations welcomed!)

9am – 11am The Fairfax County Police Motorcycle Unit will do a riding demonstration
11am The Stafford Sheriff’s K-9 Unit will do a demonstration
1pm The Awards will be presented

Community Car Show
The Stafford DARE program & van will be on display
Child ID Program
Stafford’s EMT program will be on display
Children’s’ face painting & balloons
Soap Box Derby Championship cars will be on display
Food, Drinks, & Ice Cream for sale
Custom Rim Design Contest from the Drafting Students
Various displays from sponsors & supporters

There will be a 1st, 2nd & 3rd place plaque for each class (listed below on the registration form) as well as prizes. People's Choice & Best in Show will be awarded as well.

SkillsUSA is awesome! Both Stafford High & North Stafford high will be competing down in Richmond for States!

The awards for this car show are going to be impressive. They are giving out custom plaques; so if you win 1st in your class your plaque will say "First in ___ 2007 SkillsUSA Car Show", but the background will be a picture of your car!

That will look good on any wall!

Bring your wheels out and help a good club!

Even though it takes a lot of time and money to go to SkillsUSA events/contests, it is worth it to see who is the best in the state or nation. You can't be the best if you don't try yourself; the world is truly ruled by those who show up.

A lot of businesses know of VICA (the former name of SkillsUSA) so they understand when a guy comes to them for a job and has SkillsUSA competitions on his resume. When I went to nationals guys were getting hired behind the stage as they won in their contests! The people who had hosted or judged the contests were from that industry, and were willing to pay to move people to come work for them.

Best of luck to you guys as well, hope to see you at SkillsUSA Nationals!

Come on out if you can! We've had several local businesses and retail chains donate prizes on top of the plaques to all the winning rides.

We have prizes ranging from $500.00 worth of auto services to free hair cuts!

A couple of people have asked:

The Custom Plaques will be made on the spot the day of the show. North Stafford's print shop will be making them right after the judges are finished picking the winners. So there won't be any delay or need to mail the awards.

The printing class will also be offering custom mugs and items for sale by any vehicle owner interested in having their machine memorialized!

Hey! Thanks to everyone who came out.

We had over 70 quality rides for the event, which isn't too bad for our first show. I hope those who made it had a good time and will come out again next year.

Those who missed, I hope you'll remember to look for us again this same time next year.
