Weather reports aren't looking terrible as of right now and seem to get better as the week goes on "fingers crossed and knocking on wood". Right now most places are showing mostly sunny in the AM to partly cloudy with a chance of a stray storm (which for those that live around here knows maybe rain for 5 to 10 min and then stop or just get cloudy and never rain a drop).

& is the meet starting at 11 or 12? Flyer says one thing, thread and facebook say another. An official time would be nice.

I think next year all of Sumospeed should review all the cars and pick the best quality ones and make next year even better.
(because people registering their stock Pruis is just useless)

From how its looking, the weather isn't going to be terrible, may just see a few stray showers later in the afternoon. Registration opens at 11, show actually starts at 12. (figured people wouldn't want to be there before most of the cars show up.) I want this event to be open to everyone, not just "show" quality cars. It isn't HIN or a "show car" type event, its supposed to be for the people that have clean, tastefully modded vehicles that may not ordinarily enter a "show" IN ADDITION TO show quality cars and track cars. I'm not going to tell someone their car isn't "good enough" to enter the event. It isn't like we are lacking space to put cars. Hell the idea has been tossed around of totally axing the show aspect of the event and making a meet next year.

I was there last year, and I thought it was a great day. I wouldn't change the format at all. I think the current format of a show as opposed to a meet helps keep away the people that could possibly come and ruin a good thing. Not only that but I think having several categories to vote on gives people more incentive to come out. I think it made me take more to time to really appreciate certain cars, as opposed to a meet where its more of an uncontrolled wandering. I know my opinon doesn't matter much, but I think this could be a really good annual event with the current format.

What is the money going towards? Paying security if needed and small items here and there, and the DJ... Just curious what else. Because for the price, I would expect HIN status. Nobody wants to pay for a car show to see a primered out Ford Contour. But as long as he paid, he can get in.

Maybe I'm by myself on this, but just my opinion.

The meet last year was great & I'm sure this year will be dope too. I just remembered the DJ last year completely SUCKED.
