Thanks guys. It's a shame what happened to MSV - that was by far the best car related forum I've ever been on. NASIOC comes in at a somewhat distant second.

Here are a few pics just because I'm bored. First we have a comparison between the stock flywheel and the Fidanza flywheel, then we have a pic of the block guard installed.

How long has the turbo been on the car? Miles?

It's been turbo since the beginning of 2008. At that time the car was right around 70k miles. Right now it sits at 99k miles - it's still my daily driver.

What octane were you running when you dynoed it? Any reliability issues running at that PSI on stock internals?

The car has never run on anything other than 93oct, except for a few times when I had to fill up on Wa-Wa 92 oct.

The car ran on 8psi for the first few months, had zero issues. I then ran a few months at 10 and 12psi with no issues. In November of 08 I tore it down and installed a block guard and stronger head gasket (OEM head gasket from a 07+ QR25, much better than the 02-06 head gasket) and increased the boost to 14psi. I've had zero issues on this setup. I run 14psi daily but have considered turning it back down because of traction issues. The next owner would do well to invest in some stickier tires and possibly a boost controller that will let you have different boost levels for different gears.

The only negative issues I have with this car are as follows:

-Since the block guard and head gasket install I've had a SES light, P0011. Intake camshaft timing too far advanced. I can only assume that I didn't line up my markings on the timing chain 100% when I reinstalled the cams, but it can't be any more than a tooth off because the damn thing wouldn't even seat unless it was in the correct position. I've been throwing that code since December and have not noticed any problems (no rough idle, hard starts, etc...).

-Sometimes grind when going into reverse.

Attached to this post are two screenshots from the datalogger during my dyno pulls at Adrenaline Autoworks.

Here is a link to the spreadsheet I kept last year charting my gas mileage.
