FS: 1997 Jetta VR6 4500 obo
Just replaced Transmission, throwout bearing, throwout bearing guide tube, and pressure plate bolts, New Royal Purple Transmission fluid. Had to replace tranny due to a bad second gear syncro. Car hiccups a lil around 1600 rpms when you try to hold it there, but other than that its all gravy.
Up for sale is my beloved Jetta. I am selling this car to get an e30, Mk2 gti vr6, or a Mk3 gti Vr6. I will consider trades.
The Car has around 118k on the clock. The head was rebuild with stock componets around 2k ago. The block was put in Last september and Everything was checked over to make sure it is strong. In February of this Year I lowered the compression Via headspacer and boosted the car. I ran it on about 12psi Daily on C2s 42lb tune and It Ran very strong. During this time I noted that 300plus hp FWD arent for the streets around here. About 3 weeks ago I pulled the motor, Replaced The timing Guides, Checked over the block, Replaced Gaskets, put on a Mk4 headgasket, Deleted the A/C, Delted the Sai, and Put the motor In. The motor Runs real strong and sounds meaner than ever
