yes the chain wasnt the cleanest thing that i saw when i bought the bike but i have lubed it about every 3 tanks of gas .. yet it could use some cleaning .. cleaning with Kerosene and start it off fresh or just get a new chain thats no big deal .. its about time for the 7500 mile service. $130.00 at sunrice .. oil change , plugs and im waiting on my kn air filter and radiatior fuild change.. since im at 6683 miles.. buyer can run my vin# at SUNRISE to see that all service has been done i did that before i bought this bike

I would think that if you've taken the bike there for service, you'd know it was called Sunrise.

I would recommend cleaning or replacing the chain then posting new pictures of it. The current picture is definitely not helping your sale. Just some advice, good luck with the sale though.

true true I was takeing a photo of the carbon fiber chain gaurd not the chain! that photo was taking a few weeks ago. I have forsure spray lubbed my chain a few times since then. I hope a -$100.00 chain doesnt hold BACK THE SALE Ill get a new photo up Later

 

Bro... its not the fact that the chain would only cost $100 to replace WE as knowledgable motorcyclists realize this. But what we are trying to point out for you wether you realize it or not is that we are helping you sell your bike by pointing out the flaws that you have in your selling tactics. You need that simple things like the chain are prestine as to show good maintinance habbits and also to do more research before posting a price. Sure you may not sell your bike on THIS forum but if you take some of the things said and use them in other arenas I'm sure you will get close to what you REALLY want for the bike. I always look out for a fellow motorcyclist so if you need help with maintinance or the sale hit me up and I would be more than willing to help!!

 

a thks BIG ROB for the TIP on the "CLEAN CHAIN" deal so what do you think? that is the CHAIN for b4 it was dirty from brake dust and old LUBE !!!

thats really good.. see thats what buys expect to see!! Look let me say sorry.... I come off a bit harsh at times but I like to see that all motorcyclists new and old get the experience they should!! One thing to keep in mind when pricing a motorcycle is that a bikes value is only what someone is willing to pay.
