average price for swaps in the area?
lookin to swap a new motor in my 94 cx hatch.....
what shops did everyone get their work done at in the NOVA area....and what kind of prices? also, how'd it turn out first time around? if you could post your basic setups w/ pricing too, that would be much appreciated... ( just lookin for basic set up's, i know not too many of you will give up the details).ohh yea.....i wanna go with a gsr,ls, or crv. if i go with either the crv or the ls I probably wouldn't go with vtec right off the bat, considering i'm tryin to keep the initial price low as possible. pretty much anything other than a b16. thanks in advance.

1500-2000 dollars is what it is going to be, labor rates are getting crazy. Most speed shops charge 75-85 dollars an hour.

I do swaps about 1-2 a month. And I charge around $1000.00 to do the prep and install. It takes about 2 days. Drop it off on a Friday night and pick it up on Sunday. Let me know what type of motor you want to do I have an account set up at Noyan Motors.

do you have your own shop or do you just do it on the side? so i'm lookin on average of about $1000 for prep/labor...on top of whatever set up i go with, that's not too bad.
