I am looking to add remote start to the wife's 98 Pathfinder.

Anyone have a good shop near Fairfax they want to recommend to me?
Best Buy will do a decent Viper system for about $230 parts/labor total, so I want to stay below that.

 

Will you be providing your own parts? labor is the easy part.

 

Either way..(don't currently have the parts)
Suggestions on place to purchase?

 

DO NOT take it to best buy. They hire some of the worst install technicians. Do Myer Emco or equivalent to that.

I am shying away from BestBuy. Kind of looking for an independant shop.

If your an install tech, would you do a side job? I have all the tools needed.

 

Myer Emco gave me this as their quoted price, mind you I asked for a no-frills, no alarm system.

-Me: "All I want is my keyless entry and remote start to work, no alarms, nothing fancy please."
-Them: $459.50 for parts and labor.
-Me: Hahaha, thanks anyways.
