i think so, they said on the planes they have the radar to pick up ppl speeding over 80, got 600 something in one weeknd

I saw on the news last night that they were putting up speeding cameras also but I feel asleep before I could watch the segment. I think it was on abc7. Did anybody catch it?

Lidar and radar are both accurate when used properly. Lidar does have two distinct advantages over radar though. The first being that the officer can single out a car within a pack and the second being that it is difficult to detect as a lidar beam only divulges to a diameter of 4' at 1000' (compared to several hundred for radar at the same distance.)
Unfortunately, lidar use is becomming more frequent. The best defense against lidar is a jammer. The "shifter" which is made by escort, is one such jammer although it is a bit dated. The blinder m40 is probably the best one available at this time.

I treat cops like they are my peers, it works better than kissing ass or being a prick. Also, on my license picture, I am wearing a suit so when they are checking out my license, I come off as a professional. A lawyer friend told me to do it.
