yeah, leave it an auto...
All good; you're not the only one who does. I am definitely leaving it auto, unless my next tranny is fucked up too. Then I'll swap. But if I can get one to work right, I think I'd actually prefer this car as an automatic. The motor can handle over 600hp; so I'm hoping the transmission can handle a little extra boost too.

All you need is two turbos and one foot.

Is LS1 the code for the body style/generation or is it the trim/model?

its just the engine thats in it. 93-97 F-bodies and 92-96 Y-bodies had LT1s, 98-02 F bodies and 97- Y bodies had LS1s except for the Z06 which has the LS6. (all V8s... the V6s are either 3.4 or 3.8 depending on year)

Cool. My aunt has the same car as you. I always liked it.

I'm not up to date with the "F body" and "Y body" stuff. I only know the import lingo. So, Chevy and Pontiac use the same motors?

yep. F-body=Camaro/Firebird; Y-body is the Vette.
alot of GM cars share the same engines.
get your domestic learnin on! tahts ok, i dont know much about imports unless its a RX7 or Zcar.

y r u afraid to go custom? Turbo hondas have been done so many times now, the setup is pretty simplified.

inline is purdy much custom im only gonna use there manifold and head gasket....greddy would be the only full kit i would buy
