i filed a claim about 4 years ago agaisnt vdot. it took some time. i took pictures of the rim, the damage to my car and the pothole (be careful if you try to do that). i also wrote a letter detailing what happened and where it happened at. and i includes an estimate to get a new rim. at the end of all this they called me asked me a few question and said they were sending out a check. i got the check $1500 took about a month. but they do pay.

and SlowSpool...I wouldn't be driving around on a tire w/ a bubble in the sidewall, let alone taking it to the track...

Have you ever blown out a tire at speed? I'm pretty sure you haven't since you're planning on going high speeds with a damaged tire lol

I think any set of rims would've shatter under that speed, my uncle had some 17 inch arreli's and he broke 1 of the rims in DC on a pothole, and those rims were almost 800 a piece

Also I'd like to add that I'm pretty sure driving like shit runs in your family. How about you guys take some fucking driving classes and learn to avoid obsticles in the road.
