I stay in PWC...in Dale City. Which some might consider ghetoe but I laugh at them'. Dale City is on the come up, newer housing developements are popping up everwhere. Must schools are good w/honor programs. Shopping is good got a lot of nice malls near by. Traffic blows, but thats all of NOVA.

I currently live in Va beach. I was doing some house searching and I did not know if PWC was like a city, but now I know it's like the Tidewater area, so PWC is a whole bunch of cities put together. Well when I did house searching I saw houses in Woodbridge area, and they didnt look to bad. What are some of the good cities to live in? Also, how is the Diversity of the area (filipino, white, black, etc). Thanks for all the info so far

The input is excellent. How is 40K a year up there like, is that income enough to afford a house up there (I have a wife and she's pregnant, not sure if she will work, especially after the baby is born). If it is not enough then I may not even want to move up. I know the cost of living is probably higher up there than it is here. So what cities are good to live in; I have no clue about any city up there, shoot, I thought Prince WIlliam county was a city by itself, hah. I heard Woodbridge is okay, but that is the only city I really know off. For those who lived in the 757, I like an area like Virginia Beach, plus I liked to be in a well diversed area of different cultures (i've been to places in SC where all they do is stare, i hate it).

i used to live down in pwc, down in woodbridge or dale city i guess i should say, grew up there....since i left its become nothing but a shit hole....nothing compared to what fairfax/centreville is right now. Some parts are becoming nicer and richer, other parts are becoming shittier.....im not saying its becoming more "gangsterish" but like manassas....i wouldnt want to live there....atleast not anymore. I'm had a good time during my middle school but when i went to revisit it a year ago....security stepped up quite a bit....gor all you godwin middle schoolers out there...and im glad i didnt go to garfield hs either, there were fights there everyday....i dunno. Its hit or miss down there really.
