I already brought this up a while back mentioning hte RSDs (Real street drags) out in the midwest and everyone blasted me for the idea of trying to do it here.

well if any of the county's were smart and wanted to try and make a cut back on street racing they would follow the idea. hell i would drive out to one of the stadiums or somewhere of the like for that, even if it was only 1/8 or even a 1000' race it would at least be something. have 'em sign a waiver, pay $10-20 and have that go toward the county funds.

Re: Race legal.
midnight madness tends to blow. hardly any passes due to tons of super slow cars and it ends long before midnight... nothing midnight or madness about it.
setting up programs to cut back on street racing ultimately reduces county revenues even though they could charge and give a % to the county. huge fines, lawyers, court costs and impounded cars that are later sold amounts to much greater revenues than charging 10-20 for a local event. Va sucks and always will. best bet is to head anywhere else

acouple of my firend n i were thinkin about holding one at colonial beach 1/8 mile track, pretty much set it up like how it is on the street,(some one flags(no tree), heads up ot etc,no times, and run as much as you want)
