Default speed cameras
i was alittle lost at macarthurs blvd near georgetown and a camera flashed me. has anybody been able to get out of one of these tickets? thanks

dc still has them, but over there would be arlington, i dont think thats fairfax

well the only way to get out of it is to break another law which is not having your front license plate on.

It was in Georgetown but I didn't even know they still had these.

D.C. is the only place that still has these cameras up...everywhere else in Va, the cameras are still up but they no longer work

My best friend got one when I was driving her car home from Dream. All she did was write a letter saying she was not the driver and she didn't have to pay the ticket.

FFX is still using the camera's for monitoring purposes, but as of this past July they are no longer issuing tickets. The ones in FFX are red light camera's, not radar. I believe DC is the only department using radar camera's, except on the GW parkway. I think ones on the GW are operated by the US Park Police.
