Who does Paint Job side work?
Need a paint jarb on my EG Hatch. Car is currently all primer. There are some minor dings in the rear quarter. Not looking for pristine, just need it painted.
I'd be willing to do any prep work except for actually spraying the car, if that helps.
Just wondering if anyone out there could use a little extra cash to spray my car.

Macco in sterling does a surprisingly good job I have had them paint 4 cars for me this year, just explain to him what you expect when you go there. also I heard Winchester macco is even better. tey have a special running right now i think you can get prep and paint and some dent removal for ~500

The major issues with macco are:
Shit prep work.
Shit paint.
Do the majority of the prepwork yourself, and shell out for higher quality paint, and you'll have a better job.
Unless you find a macco with a shit tech, that doesn't know how to spray. In that case, you're screwed either way.

Thanks for the responses. I've heard Maaco isn't bad if you do all the prep work yourself and just have them spray it.
I'm surprised that no one knows someone with a compressor and a $30 gun who can spray it for cheap. I guess we are not close enough to the sticks.

macco does a pretty good job for $500, i got my car painted milano red 5 years ago and it sat outside through rain & snow for 5 years and it still didnt fade into pink.
