meh, I've got a Cherokee HP D30 in the front of my Jeep rolling around on 36's. As long as he is careful with it, he should be fine for a little while.

Well what are you planning on doing with this jeep? Unless it will be strictly for mudding than it will be too tall and too top heavy. The reason I suggest cutting the fenders up is that you can fit the same size tires with less lift, giving you the size tire you want with out a giant amount of lift.

To put this in perspective, what will be the distance from the bottom of the unibody to the ground after the lift? Most jeep based rock crawlers are running about 21-25" of clearence.

its not to tall or to top heavy the front fenders are cut very littleive go 1 1/2 inch spacers witth 15 wides so it has a very stable base not gonna flip over or anything....

What exactly are you trying to get out of this truck? Are you trying to build a "big" show car or a rig that can seriously be wheeled?

Measuring from the either the bottom of the frame rail or the bottom of the belly pan, which ever is closer to the ground.

I'm not talking about it rolling over on the street either, as long as you can drive it like a lifted Jeep you won't have any problems, I'm more refering to rolling it on a trail. Just go to youtube and search for Jeep roll over, there are dozens of videos and if you notice, 90% of them are smaller than what you are hoping to make your jeep.

Are you still on the stock control arms?
