Default Driving on the beach

Just wondering how bad this gets? I've been thinking about taking my Santa Fe down to OBX but I'm not sure if it'd succesfully make the trip out onto the beach. I know all about airing down and all that shit, but I see large trucks and shit getting stuck all the time down there. Then again.. I also see Mercedes Benz's and other small all time 4WD SUV's going through like its nothing.

you shouldn't have any problems. but just incase you do, bring a few extra bucks and a tow strap there's almost always someone willing to pull you out. i say go for it.

If you are really in doubt.... Just find a ricer that has rode in one of his friends trucks before and take him with you. Ricers can tell anybody how to do anything.

I've driven out there before in my old CJ7, and like I said I know all about airing down and the likes of that. More of less just wondering about this specific vehicle.

But it doesn't sound like I'll have a problem. My main reason for asking is because it was a lot softer this weekend than I've ever seen it before.

This would be the best advice! Never take for granted that someone else will have the strap. Do you have a tow-hitch on your hyundai or any other tow points?

And isnt the 4x4 system on the santa fe more of an AWD system???

Yes it is more of an AWD system, and it has recovery points front and rear stock.
