no they wont....it will rub on everything....

biggest you can fit without a lift is 31x10.50s

some 33s if they are all terrains and halfway bald...lol

but you need at least about 4 inches of lift to clear them 35s..

or at the minimum a 3 inch body lift

Had a good truck weekend. Just purchased new wheels and tires for $150 and a brand new set of hooker headers. Think I might try to clean up the wheels and get them mounted. Will post pictures when it's done.

OK, have a few questions... exaust wise. I have my headers they come down into the cat and then into the mufflers and out the tips. What would be better? To have both headers flow into one pipe that goes to the cat that blows through one mufller? OR have the headers go into one pipe that goes into one cat then splits and goes to two mufflers...

What kind of exaust tips do you guys think would look good? I've been known to throw some off the wally exausts on my old cars and don't want this to be any different. I don't like the plain jane, to pipes straight out the back on both sides. I'm thinking maybe do the old lightning exaust and have it on one side before the rear tire with two pipes? Any help would be greatly appreciated. ecspecially with the piping. I dont know anything about the back pressure or what flows better... Thanks!!

what size tires did you end up with? You can fit 35's with no lift... however you're going to need a sawzall to make it work. Depending on what you want the truck to look like it might be fine in the long run although its a pretty nasty option. I would say lift it and run 35's. It'll look sick.

One side 2 pipes would be cool or push them out in front of the rear tires, one on either side. I'm sure some guys who have done exhaust work here can help you out more than I can

Another Update...
Bought a nice trio of toolboxes and washed and polished my wheels. They are ome ranger wheels I think. Nothing big, but they were a real good deal and have nice rubber on them so I couldn't pass it up.
Pics:

I'm thinking about painting the area were the fake rivets are to make it look like real beadlocks...
Or might just leave them alone and mount them this weekend.

Alright, been doing some research. GT-40 heads, Port and polished, with new rockers springs and pushrods... What does all this mean?

Gt-40 heads have a better flow for the 5.0. They come off of new explorers, mountaneers and mustangs.

Port and polish? The head is honed out?

What would new rockers and springs do? improve how well the valves open and close? More efficent?

Later down the road add a garret t4 turbo with a 1.6 turbine housing and .60 a/r...?
Should I just leave it like it is, paint it in the spring and buy a fun car to mess with?

Finally got the wheels mounted this weekend, I'll post pictures when it's not grey outside.
Thanksgiving break is comming up so I'm going to clean and sand and paint the toolboxes over break. Also picked up the exaust gaskets and once I get my next paycheck I'm buying a cherrybomb extreme muffler. I've been told 5.0 sounds better with a chamer exaust instead of just a straight through cherry bomb.

That's it for now.
