Torsoin bars
i have a 2000 chevy silverado 1500, and i wanted to lift the front up a little just to level it out, just 3/4 to 1 1/2 inches, i heard that this is alright except for if you crank the shit out of them to get actual lift then u can break them or other stuff and they wear stuff out faster. i also heard after adjustments you should get an alignment, is this nessecary with such a small adjustment.any comments or help would be great, thanks

Re: Torsoin bars
dunno about breaking em . . . talked to a guy that had a nissan and asked the dealer about cranking the t-bars and the guy at the deeler said ya wouldn't break em and if ya did he'd by the guy a new set) . . . i cranked the ones on my old nissan . . . . probably wouldn't be a bad idea to get it aligned afterwards as it may throw the camber and toe off slightly. . . . . . cranking em will make it rid a little rougher i do beleive

Re: Torsoin bars
I'm not sure about the silverados but on toys the torsion bars themselves don't have a tendency to break it's usually the adjusting bolts that like to snap in half.
You should get a realignment it will throw off your camber some.
