1987 silverado lifted f/s maybe?
so im thinking about selling my chevy and wanted to see what i could get for it.
1987 Chevrolet Silverado regular cab long bed
'98 vortech 350/ 700 trans/ 208 t-case
The Good:
- 6 inch Rough Country suspension lift installed by Production Offroad 200 miles ago
- 3 inch body lift installed at same time by same people
- Brand new lookin interior, not a single tear or hole mark in seats
- middle seat can fold down for arm rest and cup holder
- brand new sound system with panasonic deck and rockford fosgate 6x9's
- new hedmen headers to new cats and glass packs with pipes exiting in
front of back tires- true duals
- rear sliding glass window
- trailer reciever hitch installed
- brand new brakes front and rear and brand new ball joints in the front
- 10 bolt solid axle front and rear
- inspection good till october '08
- brand new high/low headlights and taillights
The Bad:
- newer 98 vortech 350 blew a driver side head gasket. guy i got it from said it had about 30-40xxx on it. old couple but had no paperwork.
- passenger side power window mtor needs replaced- have it bt not installed yet
- has dual tanks but right side tank wont pump gas- probably fuel pump

im still iffy about selling it. i just put about 3000 into it in two weeks. and only driven it about 200 miles since i had it. so with the 35's its sittin on probably around 5. hampton

for that much you may want to consider fixing it and keeping it. you have any engine pictures? the 98 vortech is a cpi engine.

yea man thats what i was thinkin too. the guy i bought it from said its a newer engine dont remember what year tho. then the ignition module went out and i took it to the shop to get a new one and they guy told me its from a 97-98 vortech 350 so i dunno. it just looks like a regular of t.b.i engine to me but yea

yea i know my mom has a 96 suburban mith the vortech. they dont look nothing alike lol. CHAHONDA u seem like a nice guy. ill work a deal for u. ill give u the chevy and my yota for 10 easy payments of 1000 k?

right now i got a new complete rear axle im throwin under the toyota and get that up and runnin again. then im gonna take apart the 350 and see what damage has been done. hopefully its not that severe
