on the real, how did the guy from NCFOM use a silencer on a shotgun??

for the longest time i thought he was shooting nails, cause Tommy Lee Jones mentioned guys killin pigs with nail guns

They exist, but they are not slient or "silencers" they are suppressors. It would have been alot louder than what was heard, thats hollywood for ya. How it changes the effectiveness if at all of the projectiles I have no idea. but it might work better with a slug type round.

i believe in no country there was the suppressed shotty and then the "cow killer" which was used at the beginning of the movie. two different weapons. bump!!
