and wtf r u talking about? ordering a $500 bill from the bank? or registering it with the bank....
my wife worked in the money vault for a local bank, yes you heve to register a 500 dollar note if the teller dont tell you that thay are breaking the law.
unless the law changed in the last few years. where else you going to get a 500 dollar note from?

yes you can get one from a bank but thay have to order it. thats when it gets registered

a little FYI ...Legal United States currency is printed in bills in denominations of $1, $2, $5, $10, $20, $50, and $100. Although they are still technically legal tender in the United States, the higher denomination $500, $1,000, $5,000, and $10,000 bills were last printed in 1945 and officially discontinued on July 14, 1969, by the Federal Reserve System. thats why you have to order them.. and then it tskes a while to get one
