hey man is your pit mean?..I got my first pitbull not too long ago and i was a little nervous because of what i have heard but my wife wanted her so i got her...She is super nice now but she is still a puppy from what i have heard they get aggresive by 1 1/2

 

they only get that way if you let them.. all of mine are very loving as well as protective dogs.

imo, an aggressive pit is the result of poor breeding or poor raising.. dont go off of stereo typical b/s.. as long as you raise it right you will be ok.. g/l

I've owned four of them now and each and every one is so incredibly loving and nice with invited friends and guests. But also incredibly intelligent, and smart enough to know when someone isn't welcome.

wow, the story behind the dog happened exactly to me, but i was second ownder, gave back to original owner because he destroyed our home, and later found him at the pound and they would not release him due to his condition. extremely sad and it was heartbreaking. good luck with the new home for home and nice job saving him in time.

 

GL with adoption. Hope he gets a good home, had i not just gotten a puppie i would have taken him instantly.
