Because the other cars that have been stolen this week had eye witnesses saying that they saw a tow truck taking the car. Its also makes sense since none of these places had broken glass or no one has heard anything. You know how fast you can tow a car? It doesn't take long.

Not even that. My dad's truck is called a snatch truck. All his does is while he's backing up to the car let his lift down, back up to the car, his jaws wrap around the tire and lifts it and he's gone. It's like 2 minutes max.

And no, I'm not stealing cars, my dad just owns his own towing business, so I know.

the ones that tow and your rear wheels are still on the ground...takes less than 30sec. there is no way to stop a tow truck from taking your shit. just park in the garage, or take your wheels off every night...oh well. sorry guys.

I've actually seen it faster than that at my old apartment complex. Like 30-45 seconds.

After reading all of this, when I see anything but a POS being towed anywhere, I'll do everything I can to get plates and descriptions from both vehicles.

Yeah, my dad can do it in less than a minute. I was just telling dan it's 2 minutes max and that's when they actually get out and strap the car down, haha.
