Re: 94 civic with b16a2 wont start... need help!!!
It cranks yes, I tried last night and if I spray starting fluid in it, it will run for a second, as soon as I stop spraying it stops... how do I check the injectors to see if they are working properly? And will the compression stop it from starting? I'm sure the compression can't be that bad, the bottom end supposidly only has 5k miles...

when you get done bs'n change the damn fuel pump!!!!!!!!!! that is why it runs when you spray starter fluid in it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and stops when you quit spaying! why do you ask for advice if you arent going to listen to anybody? I did a swap for a friend that drove his car in my garage and we swapped the motor out that night and wouldn't start b/c the pump was bad.

First of all, lets get rid of this IAT code. Your D-series had the one on the manifold correct? And the B16a2(assuming from the 99-00 Si) has the one on the intake. Well, you can drill/tap the blank spot on the 99-00 Si manifold and put it there. OR you can extend the wires and put it on the intake with two self tapping screws.
I'd do the first one, but if you don't want to remove your manifold, do the second one.
Check your injectors like Luo(sucio7) said.
Also, have a buddy check the timing one more time. The simplest mark off can be the reason why it's not running.
I'm trying to think of other stupid reasons why cars wouldn't start after I did swaps.
Ding Ding Ding.
Because he said it ran fine before he did the swap. Although I have seen fuel pumps go bad randomly, I doubt it is that in this case.
And stop yelling.
