I say it all depends on the judge.

But blacksburg has this one judge...im not sure of his name but it starts with an F. He likes to make examples out of Virginia Tech students. He will get you really really bad...so if you know you're going to have him as your judge for your court date. I suggest a continuence and reschedule for a later date.

I had haga for my ticket (wreckless) and it was dropped to improper.( but i had a difference judge) But even haga knows not to mess with this one judge.

 

haga is the lawyer's name? does anyone have contact info or have a story to tell about him/her after hiring?

also...has anyone ever heard of my lawyer before? Harriet Dorsey...she's an older woman, she claims to have worked in the blacksburg court for 28 years.

 

i did time in '98 for speeding. 30 days, 28 suspended. i even had an attorney. but i learned more in those two days then i did in the entire 18 years before that...
about dumb motherfuckers that hit their wives.
get a lawyer for sure, and repent. i have noticed that kids that dress up get a much tougher sentence. go into court dressed like a crack slinger and you will get a slap on the wrist. i hate the judicial system...
