Well I would say the starter then. I would bang on it with a hammer and see if it starts that way. You will still need to try to start the car. Banging on the starter won't start the car itself . That is not a fix to the starter that just shows that the starter is going. If you want you can have the starter for 30 buck. I don't need it. pm me and I will give you my number

Was it cranking before and now it isn't? The battery might have died from trying to start it. Then I wold say the dissy.

If it won't crank then hit the starter with a wrench a couple of times, if that doesn't work but you still hear the solenoid click over then it might be jammed up. Check the ignition system, my old CRX wouldn't crank over but I could push start it. You would need a dizzy if it turned and there was no spark.

Ive had a starter just go out of nowehere as well, you also said all you hear is one click, is it coming from where the starter is? Id lean more towards the starter than the distributor, auto zone will test it for free and shouldnt take but a couple minutes to pull so id start there.

Actually if it will crank but not turn over, wait 15 minutes and try again. If it starts up, it is your main relay. common problem. I though earlier you said it would not crank.
