I call my co-workers Geezers because I'm the youngest one in the company and next closest in age is 13 years older.

i dunno, i work with programmers and i've never called them 'artists', even though some of them have mad programming skills that can be considered art...

probably that whole left brain/right brain deal

we engineers don't like to sugarcoat things

But they aren't programmers. They are other designers. Hence artists.
