i would say its a decent deal. from the description it sounds well taken care of. those motors will run well over 200k even beat to shit daily. i have a 1993 coupe thats beat up that i wouldnt let go for less than 5k. its just that much fun to me.

ive owned a bunch of z's infact a 86 non turbo, 85 turbo, 90 twin turbo, 93 twin turbo and 2 94 twin turbo's it dosnt matter what year the z is weather its a 90 or 94. They all have there common grimlins like any other car in the world. With a Z esp a TT because everything is so tightly fit it dosnt get rid of heat quickly and over time around 100k the harness really starts taken a shit and the electrical nightmares people talk of happen. My harness has 94k on it and since i bought the car it was a problem. I just changed out my injectors and coil packs and connectors just so the car would stop droping a cyld. since I changed those connectors ive have had 0 issues with the car. Z's are great cars they can take ALOT of beating. As for the price your guy is asking to me is a little high. I paid 10,000 for my 94 twin turbo with under 100k miles. BUT... if its a nice Z and its WELL taken care of and documented you cant go wrong.

Jason is right. When i worked for JapAuto every z i worked on had this problem. Harness coil connectors just disenigrate as you touch them and just about everything else corodes so bad that you cant get a good signal and it runs like crap. Injectors are crap too they start fucking up as low as 70k , electrical part fails quite soon and it is a BIIIIIIIITch removing the plenum to replace them. Well not that bad but every damn hose crumbles while you do that and back feels like you had some fat whore riding you all day.

If it was me buying the car i'd replace the engine harness and injectors first thing. Do not put reman BapGeon or any other BS injectors they don't last worth a shit.

Timing belt is also a bitch because everything seizes on thanks to nissan using dissimilar metals.

My personal opinion is this is an awesome car. I have never seen an engine crap out if taken care of at well over 200k and there really isn't any more problems that are common.

He has a lot done to the car but make sure he has proof of a quality shop doing it ...otherwise i'd forget about it at that price.

The reason injectors fail 90-94 style injectors take a shit because of the ethonal. A must upgrade is 95-96 style. I went to nismo 740cc injectors, upgraded fuel rails and a harness just so i wouldnt have that problem because it seemed every 100 miles i was having a injector fail and i was tired of it. So i broke down and upgraded.
