Re: vibrant flat black muffler vs dynomax muffler
I just got a vibrant, its quieter for sure, but my car is still loud (2.5inch from the header all the way back with only a high flow cat). And the black coating came off the tip at the track.

one of my friends has a vibrant on his prelude and it sounds real good, not too loud and not raspy at all. its a nice smooth sound.

Re: vibrant flat black muffler vs dynomax muffler
I just put mine on along with a vibrant resonator, i'll work on getting some sound clips. I just dropped it off for the 60K service so its gone for the weekend.
It is much quiter inside my car while driving, probably thanks to the resonator. I wouldn't say it's a whole lot quieter outside my car though. It looks closer to stock and has a deeper sound so hopefully it'll keep the cops off of me. If this doesn't work then I'm in the market for a baffled muffler and a 3" cutout (I might end up with the cutout anyways).
