a focus svt only has a 170hp zetec engine it hought

yeah i was pretty sure they were 170 hp as well.

Okay now this just pisses me off......Back when the SVT came out SCC had an article comparing it to the RSX-S because they said it had 200 HP........I'm not doubting you that it has 170HP As a mater of fact thats more beleiveable for that car......But my maddness comes from then comparring a car that cant even remotely hang with the RSX-S as apposed to comparring the closer Spec-V.........We never get credit where credit is due....Oh well...lol...thats a few idiots at a magazine for you.......

Sargeek, Ill run you... btw, I never said the merkur that ran a 12.8 was MINE.. I just though for what little mod's the guy had done a 12.8 and a 1.8 with a open rear end with 205 street tires was damn nice....

My car isnt tuned yet, still in the break in so I think it would be fair, I have beat a integra, i/h/e vtec civic, and a 240 that I know of since the rebuild... the 240 I left my car in overdrive and just slowly pulled away...

This Saturday I'm working 2-10pm. Maybe next saturday?

As for the focus svt. Yep, they have 170 hp. The difference is my si weighs allot less; about 700-1000 if I remember right. Plus you can't really mess with them much. The only timing you can change is the exhaust timing. That's about it.

I think they are pretty sweet cars, and if you can get a deal it's worth it. The suspension/rims/tires alone is worth the price over the zx3.

I'm down with running anyone. I'd love to see where I'm at. I get out of work each night at about 10. Can be anywhere by 10:30. So anyone who wants to run just pm me.

If not I'll see you guys in about 8 days at hooters?
