No, its not. The Powerdyne unit while a solid unit, doesn't allow for the RMS aftercooler and pulley changes that the Vortech headunit on an E36 does. I've had a few E36 M3s and have been around the E36 FI scene since 2003....

 

ha, it definately does fit, had a 95 m3 dakar yellow SC'ed when I lived in pittsburgh, Powerdyne head unit and RMS cooler, lines up just fine? Maybe a newer version of RMS's crap? Also a company called Gintani makes a Manifold replacement cooler that will work with this setup.

 

The ones I have seen/worked on do not allow for both the aftercooler and PD headunit to fit together. I couldn't tell you what generation RMS cooler it was, but it was within the past 1.5 years.

What about upping the boost with a PD unit?

 

You can change the pulleys, because I had the chance to get the 9 lb pulley but didn't.

I dont know ive never dynoed this car but its a bmw and its not a straight line only drag car like most people want, this is a well rounded car that can handle corners better than any car ive driven and still roast them in 3rd.
