people selling type r's here for 13-15k
or craigslist...
this car is clean and unmolested.
Is a steal what he is asking considering theres people in here asking $7,000 for junk cars...

Beautiful car! I think people are just hesitant with Type-R's (despite how rare they are) due to the theft rate. Plus, being a rebuilt title doesn't allow you to avail a comprehensive insurance so if it does get stolen you're shit out of luck. Regardless, I know pictures won't do the car justice but it looks like you definitely know what you're doing and it shows. GLWS!

EDIT
Tried to run the VIN I saw on your Photobucket account via AutoCheck but received no results. Also, for shits and giggles, I searched the VIN on Google and came upon this site: http://forums.beyond.ca/showthread/t-119949.html

After reading the thread you posted, I'm very curious as well. It's probably doubtful this is the same car, but none the less, something isn't right if the vins are matching up to be the same.

I'm not doing a whole lot of digging here, just giving you my outside perspective.

The forum you posted talks about how someone on eBay used the vin for a scam type r for 5500. The whole "oh yeah you send me the money I ship you the car" deal.

Isn't it possible that whoever was running the scam obtained his vin online in some way to add to the legitimacy of his scam? Or perhaps it was the previous owner using it as a scam car, what does it matter now? OP has clearly owned this car for some time, he now wants to sell it. It is a type R. Honestly, the lack of receipts bothers me more. Just my .02
