FYI fenders are on the front of you car and quarter panels are on the rear w/ a few minor exceptions (VB new Bettle is considered to have 4 fenders)

Thats how mine is, not sure if its an actual bat though, the waves are really small, like maybe 2 of my fingers wide.. and i have girl hands.. i think he used a shotpeen hammer or something. cant tell at all on the outside though, very clean

UB; are you positive its 18x11 and not 18x10? I cant find them in 18x11 anywhere

I guess I could try to be constructive. If you live in the area I'd stop by autothority, I had my fenders CUT/sealed on both sides for $90.

It's a fairly simple DIY, I'm not sure that I'd be down to pay someone to do it. Just ask around and see if someone has the tool lying around.

Call his shop, I thought they where 11" but I could be wrong. I have seen them in person and they are huge! 965-3494 ask for Don or Terry.

some one on the vwvortex made their own out of a facory jack w/ a uerethane wheel in the end they could bolt to the wheel hub. then they adjusted the jack out more as the roll went deeper. it was pretty gnarly.
