still easier to get a gsxr subframe and make it fit the bike than to make a new subframe frome scratch..... especially if you want a back seat/trunk/etc.

Im still trying to figure out what will/wont fit from gsxr's, so that's interesting to hear. Assuming same year would work? If so ill be on the forums searching around for that.

If not where do you work and how much you lookin to get to do so?

 

I know the front shocks fit. They are USD so they look a little better IMO.

 

ok, basically an RF is a early model GSXR with a steel frame.

all pre-96 suzuki's, for the most part, use the same stem and bearing in the neck, so any front end front end from a 95 or older suzuki will fit with minor mods.

pretty much any 95 and earlier gsxr wheel will fit, there's alot of sizes...

so this evening I was doing a mountain run in my favorite haunt.

there was a line of cars in front of me and I was going to pass them when I smelled something that was burning. I freaked out and thought it was me, but it was over-used brake pads and rubber.

I looked up at the line of cars trying to find the culprit when I noticed that the front asshole in a Ford Explorer was really nailing the shit out of his brakes, so hard in fact that puffs of smoke where coming out of the front right tire.

All of a sudden everybody, in the middle of a really nice turn, slams on their brakes, ford explorer asshole veers off to the side of the road, sans one front tire, and then everybody is playing kick the tire down the road...with me being the last one.
