Holy jesus fuckery i have one of these sitting in my shed. I bought it from some old lady at a yard sale 2 or 3 years ago for $50. Got it home changed the spark plug, cleaned the hell out of the carb and a few other things and the fucker ran its dick off until it just up and died one day. Never could get rid of it though. Best $50 i ever spent.

Hi 4BangerCivic & quick26, thanks for the pics and the postings! I've got to say they've saved my ass a few times working on my 86' xl250r!
Just split the cases on my bike a couple years ago and now the countershaft seal is leaking Got the new oem seals in and they have the lip described above. Did you end up splitting the cases when ya'll installed the new countershaft seal? Is there a way I can get around splitting the cases?
