Also, if you look at the trends of previous M3's as compared to their 3series counterparts...they were only fractionally heavier. So if lets say the 335i is 3500~lbs...then i would venture a guess that a fully loaded M3 would be heavier than that but maybe 50~lbs heavier. If that.
Personally im very excited to see waht this new chassis/engine is capable of. Especially mated to the new smg 7spd. But i think the M3 would probably be now catagorized as a Grand Tourer rather than a sports car.
