Re: red mustang on 288 this morning?
Most humbling experience ever for me in Richmond consisted of me getting absolutely demolished by some guy in a red civic ex with flame stickers on the windows (h22, turbo, and probably more shit, IIRC he said upper 11s when I caught up to him). shortly after seeing taillights I stopped laughing at the flame stickers for a bit.
That sucked.
That sucked.

Turbo/supercharged and spraying? As you may have noticed, my little thingy says "h22a" which most likely means, my honda has an h22a. I'll cut you some slack here, since most muscle car owners who've challenged me didn't really like honda, therefore didnt bother learning about honda motors. However, lemme give you some background. The h22a has 200bhp. H22a prelude with i/h/e and tuned properly should run about 14 flat with a lil over 200whp (yes, they weigh very little). Boosted H22 is a whole different story. Run 9 psi, and you cant expect anything less than 300 whp. In order to spray and turbo/supercharge, the motor would have to be built, since it has a 10.6:1 CR. So basically, when you say that my prelude would have to be sprayed and boosted to beat your mustang, I hope you're running low 12s or 11s to back that up. Granted, my h22a is neither boosted nor sprayed, so it only runs 14s, but I still think unless ur mustang is modded, I'd have a good shot at total ownage
With that being said, do not mistake this post for me saying my car is fast lol, I know that my car is prolly one of the slower ones on this forum, im just saying... think before you post.

Stock 99-04 GTs will run 14.0 or faster with a good driver.

Cool. They can run with mid 80's early 90s L98 Firebirds.
Yup. Thats worth mentioning.
I mean, it took Ford til 05 to build a GT that could consistently beat LT1 cars.

Judging on previous experiences though, I still stick to my total ownage of this '00 GT previously posted.

Actually the 99-04 cars can run 13.8 bone stock, but we wont mention the ass pounding GM got from Ford from 1987-1992 when the 350 Iroc/Z28 was getting worked by a lil 302

L98 cars run like they're tied to a tree. Bone stock LT1 cars run 14's...low 14's but still 14's. LS1 cars are indeed fast even stock but I fail to see the superiority complex necessary from LowTech1. There is after all, always something faster.....
