The pass thing was my idea. Henry was taking it easy around the track, since it was his first time, so I thought I'd help him and the other driver's out.

Re: VIR ITR Expo 7
Registration opened last November so this years, so I wouldn't expect a location until end of summer/early fall. Wherever it is, I'm going, and I'm racing, no watching this time.

I don't forsee myself driving across the country, though. If it's at home (Infineon, Sonoma, CA), I'm probably in. I can stay with family. LOL

Re: VIR ITR Expo 7
I'm definitely not going across the country. They need to have it at VIR again.
There was a lot more people. There where 4 groups, instructor, advanced, intermediate, and novice(me).
My car wasnt running the way it should be, but it still did very well. Like Chris(elaum) said, I was taking it easy. I seen 2 guys spin out infront of me. Plus I had street tires.
There were a few guys in novice that were better then me so thats why I had the "pass" sign
I believe I was the only Turbo ITR there. I seen a few boosted guys there, but not an ITR. I was catching up on the straights, but not trying to over do it.
I was black flaged for blowing fire out the exhaust hahaha! I told the pit crew there wasn't anything I could do about it because of it running a bit rich for cooler temps. Plus, in the classroom session. They warned people to stay atleast 3-7 lenths behind untill given the signal to pass, so I dont feel so bad
If the Expo next year is less then 15hrs away I will be going. This time with more experience.
