i run synthetic in 5000 mile intervals in both my built car and my dd. Mobil 1 5w30 on the dd and 15w-50 in the fun car.
Might try that rotella out now.

Just felt like I would bump this to let ya'll know my car is now leaking a bit of oil. Don't know if it is the synthetics fault or not but the shop said it was on the o rings, main seal and valve cover gaskets(VC gaskets have maybe 200 miles on them and shouldn't be leaking at all). Estimated repair, a smooth 800 bucks lol

Just the valve cover was done. The motor was rebuilt maybe 3 years ago in theory. The shop that my mom decided to use(her money her choice) was shady as fuck and I am pretty sure now that they just put a random junk yard motor in it.
